Step 1
Prepare the Banana Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas thoroughly until smooth and lump-free.
Add the egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla essence to the mashed bananas. Using a hand beater, mix everything well until the mixture becomes smooth and well combined. This creates the moist base for the banana bread.
Step 2
Add the Dry Ingredients: To the banana mixture, add the all-purpose flour, baking soda, powdered sugar, and cinnamon powder.
Using a spatula or hand beater on low speed, gently mix until everything is well incorporated. Avoid overmixing to ensure the bread remains soft and tender. The batter should be thick but smooth.
Step 3
Prepare the Pan & Add Toppings: Grease and line an 8-inch loaf (bread) pan. Pour the prepared batter evenly into the pan and smooth the surface.
Drizzle Nutella generously over the top and sprinkle nuts of your choice for added crunch and flavor.
Preheat the oven to 180°C for at least 10 minutes (heat from both top and bottom rods for best results).
If baking on a stovetop, preheat the pot or pan on high flame for 10 minutes before placing the loaf inside.
Step 4
Bake to Perfection: Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
If baking on a stovetop, cook on low flame for approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes, checking doneness with a skewer.
Allow the banana bread to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm for a soft, moist texture with rich Nutella flavor in every bite.
