Ingredients
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- 1 tbsp onion, minced
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp nutmeg powder
- ½ tsp thyme
- ½ tsp dried parsley
- ½ tsp all spice powder
- ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp red chili powder
- ½ tsp chicken stock powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp red chili flakes
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp soya sauce
- 1 tbsp oil (for cooking)
Directions
Step 1
Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine minced onion, cumin powder, garlic powder, onion powder, nutmeg powder, thyme, dried parsley, all spice powder, cinnamon powder, black pepper, paprika, red chili powder, chicken stock powder, sugar, red chili flakes, vinegar, and soya sauce. Mix well until it forms a thick, flavorful marinade
Step 2
Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken breast fillets to the marinade and coat them well from all sides. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes so the spices absorb properly.
Step 3
Cook the Chicken: Heat a pan or grill pan over medium heat with a little oil. Place the marinated chicken in the pan and cook for about 5–7 minutes on each side until the chicken is fully cooked, slightly charred, and juicy inside.
Step 4
Serve: Remove the chicken from the pan and let it rest for a minute. Slice and serve hot with rice, salad, or grilled vegetables.
