Ingredients

  • 1 cup Gram flour
  • 1 tsp heaped Red chili
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Chicken Powder
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1 tbsp white zeera
  • 2 tbsp chili flakes
  • 1/2 cup green onions
  • 2 green chili
  • 1 tbsp dry coriander
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 5-6 bread slice
  • water as required

Directions

Step 1

Prepare the Batter: In a bowl, add gram flour and mix it with water. Let it rest for about 30 minutes so the batter becomes smooth. Add red chili, salt, chicken powder, white zeera, chili flakes, dry coriander, chaat masala, egg, chopped green onions, and green chilies. Mix well until everything is combined.

Step 2

Prepare the Bread: Cut each bread slice into four pieces. Dip each piece into the gram flour batter, making sure it is well coated from all sides.

Step 3

Fry the Pakoras: Heat oil on medium-high flame. Carefully place the coated bread pieces into the oil and deep fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towel. Serve hot.

Note: Adjust salt and chilies according to taste.
